The Inter-parish Marriage Enrichment Team

In May, 2006 representatives from a group of parishes in the Naperville-Lisle-Woodridge area began meeting to develop a vision of marriage ministry through which they would coordinate resources for marriage enrichment. Working on the premise that a marriage enrichment program is challenging to organize and sustain at a parish level, this group is working together to share current programs and to create new inter-parish marriage enrichment opportunities.

Previous conferences sponsored by IMET Include:

The first fruit of this inter-parish collaboration was “Breaking the Cana Code: Secrets of a Successful Marriage” seminar that was held in April 2008 at Benedictine University, and was attended by over 200 couples.
“Open Hearts: Strengthening your Marriage through Communication and Forgiveness" was the second seminar organized by the group and held in the brand new Wentz Concert Hall at North Central College in Naperville on March 21, 2009.
In 2010, IMET presented "Theology of the Body: Creating A Joy Filled Marriage". The event was once again held at Wentz Concert Hall at North Central College in Naperville.
"The Incredible Adventure of Marriage" was the fourth event planned by IMET in March 12, 2011 held at Benedictine University.

"The Marriage You Always Wanted" is the fifth event planned by IMET and will be held on March 17th, 2012 at St. Joan of Arc Church in Lisle. You can register for this event on this site, or by contacting any of the representatives listed on the "Contact us" page.
